Barry Gray is a Senior Partner specializing in the marketing and sale of residential architecture, historic properties and design-centric homes. He is also part of a team of Deasy Penner agents that developed the firm’s successful multi-unit division.
He has represented both buyers & sellers of architectural & historic homes designed by early twentieth century icons Arthur & Nina Zwebell, mid-century masters Richard Neutra, John Lautner & Raphael Soriano, classic Southern California architects Richard Dorman, Ed Fickett, Donald Wexler & Gregory Ain, and numerous contemporary architects currently working in Southern California.
His "farm" is a style of home, not a particular area, so he has sold property from the Westside of Los Angeles, to the Hollywood Hills, Los Feliz & Silver Lake, Pasadena, and even Palm Springs.
Prior to joining Deasy Penner & Partners, Barry was manager of Mossler, Deasy & Doe Realtors of Beverly Hills.
Barry transitioned into real estate from the film business, where he was involved in independent film finance, distribution and marketing. While traveling extensively around the world to attend film markets and festivals he discovered his interest in architecture. When not selling real estate, Barry is a video artist and documentarian… and is even a produced screenwriter.
Barry attended Roanoke College and U.S.C.’s Annenberg School of Communications and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
